- On March 10 and 11, the Gender and Sexuality Center (GSC) is hosting the 11th annual TRANSforming Gender Conference in an effort to educate the community on issues facing gender-diverse people and encourage advocacy and support.

- The Bioneers network event Front Range Eco-Social Solutions will return to 麻豆原创 Feb. 3 and 4. The event, produced by the CU Environmental Center, brings together progressive thinkers of the region to address both global and local issues.
- In July, the BUENO Center聽for Multicultural Education will host the 2017 Summer Institute "From the Past into the Future: Equity, Justice, and Diversity." The conference is designed for K-12 teachers and administrators to build knowledge and skills about the education of diverse learners.
- Two engineering students, Yohannese Gebremedhin and Arthur Antoine, organized the 2016 National Society of Black Engineers鈥 (NSBE) Fall Region 6 Conference, to be held Nov. 4鈥6 in Denver. The event has attracted hundreds of people from the region, and registration is still open.
